BA Venture Partners Invests in Spinal Kinetics $10 Million Dollar Series A Funding
Mark Brooks of BA Venture Partners Joins Spinal Kinetics Board of Directors
FOSTER CITY, Calif., May 10, 2004 - BA Venture Partners, a venture capital partnership, today announced it invested in Spinal Kinetics $10 million Series A financing. Spinal Kinetics is developing innovative new products for spinal surgery. Other investors who participated in the round include DeNovo Ventures and HLM Venture Partners. "We are very excited to take such an active role in Spinal Kinetics early stage financing," said Mark Brooks, managing director at BA Venture Partners. "We believe that Spinal Kinetics has innovative technology that surpasses anything currently available on the market." It was also announced today that Mr. Brooks is joining Spinal Kinetics board of directors.
