Scale Venture Partners has hired Karan Mehandru as an associate for the firm's technology team.

Mehandru will identify investment opportunities including semiconductor, consumer electronics and datacenter infrastructure companies.

Mehandru joins ScaleVP from Synopsys Inc., where he was a sales account manager. Prior to Synopsys, Mehandru was an implementation manager focusing on the fabless semiconductor market for PMC-Sierra Inc.
