| Karan Mehandru focuses on identifying
investment opportunities in semiconductor, MEMS, consumer electronics
and datacenter infrastructure companies. Prior to ScaleVP, Karan
was a Sales Account Manager at Synopsys. He was instrumental in closing
more than $40 Million in strategic and territorial design wins during
2006 and 2007. He also led marketing, applications and sales efforts
for his team’s
top accounts and worked closely with the company’s strategic customers
and the product management team on the development of new products.
Before Synopsys, Karan was an implementation manager with a focus on the fabless semiconductor market for PMC-Sierra in Vancouver, Canada. During his five years with PMC-Sierra, he led and managed design implementation of large scale ASICs targeted for the telecommunications, storage and networking markets. Karan graduated from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada with an Honors Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree with high distinction. He also holds a Master’s degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, with a specialization in Technology and Entrepreneurship. |
